The first pics ever...

I went for my ultrasound on the 12th of January. Terry was able to accompany me there, and we got to see our new addition for the first time. The ultrasound tech said the baby was very wiggly, so it will probably be very active like Breana is. Everything looked wonderful. There was only 1 baby in there, and everything else was healthy looking. She gave me a revised due date of the 18th of June. The tech printed off some pictures of the babe, so I took some pictures of the pictures so I could post them on here. Hopefully they turn out!

This is a profile shot showing off the head, spine, belly and thigh of the baby.

This picture is looking at the face of the baby. Kinda alien-like, but still beautiful in my opinion!

I went for another appointment with my doctor yesterday. Since the 21st of December, I've gaine 8 3/4 pounds, so total over the 20 weeks has been 9 3/4 pounds...not bad so far. The doc asked me when I was planning on working until, and I said end of May, beginning of June, and he said we would play it by ear...hopefully everything goes better this time around! My blood pressure was 120/80, so it has not started to get high...yet!

Oh, and some interesting news came our way last Thursday. It turns out that we are going to be and Auntie, Uncle and Cousins to another little one! Gary and Angie are expecting their 3rd child only 10 weeks after we are due! It will be very exciting to have someone else to be pregnant with, and that our little bundle of joy will have a cousin so close in age! The whole family is very excited!

Well, so far, that is all the news that I can think of. Sorry it took so long to post, but I've been busy trying to get my CGA course done...lots of boring reading this time around...Accounting Theory, how interesting do you think it is?

God called his child home...

We lost my grandmother, Elviere Schoonbaert, Christmas night. She was in the hospital with stomach cancer for about 2 1/2 weeks. We knew about the cancer for about a month and a half. I believe she knew about it longer, but because of the woman she was, she kept it to herself.
She was born Dec 10, 1926 and passed away Dec 25, 2006, at the age of 80.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one
belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before hime, he looked back
at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the
path of his life, there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me
all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times
in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why
when I needed you most, you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My child, I love you and would never leave
you. During your times of trials and sufferings, when you see
only one set of footprints, it was when I carried you."
You are forever loved Grandma, and will always be missed.
